HOPE  |  A CURRENT LIFEHOUSE RESIDENT

Jalicia (third from the top left) enjoying the IF: Gathering weekend conference with other Lifehouse girls

Jalicia found herself pregnant, alone, and scared. She had little to no support in Dallas and thought an abortion might be easier. However, after a quick Google search, she realized there might be another option. By God’s grace, one discovery after another led her to LifeHouse and a new life for her and her baby.

Now living at LifeHouse for four months, Jalicia has learned patience, endurance, and what it means to walk by the spirit and not by the flesh. After receiving Christ, she says her heart has changed and she more often thinks about her baby and others before herself. She gives credit to the program at LifeHouse and says that meeting with the counselor and social worker each week has been her greatest encouragement.

Jalicia has a plan to become a cosmetologist and will enroll at Houston Community College (HCC) soon. Please join us in prayer for her and her baby who is due in July!
