Diane graduated from Houston Baptist University with a M.A. in Christian Counseling in 2010. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She began her counseling degree at Gracewood, a ministry that rescues children and their single mothers. For over five years, she served as Intake Coordinator, Counselor, and Programs Supervisor. In 2016 Diane entered private practice and joined The Houston Center for Christian Counseling. As she was working on building her private practice, she was given the opportunity to counsel the women of LifeHouse for a period of six months. Fiv years later she was then given the privilege of serving LifeHouse as a board member.
Throughout her 11-year career in counseling, Diane has specialized in women (with and without children), married couples, adolescents, and families. She works extensively with victims of abuse, neglect, and other traumas. Her areas of specialty are betrayal trauma, anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationships, self-esteem, life transitions, grief, and parenting.
Diane and Scott, her husband of 34 years, live in the Memorial area of Houston. They are members of Tallowood Baptist Church and they have three sons, two daughters in law, and three grandchildren. Diane believes we are to be God's ambassadors in our dealings with others and that God is using her to confirm to people that He is at work bringing hope and restoration in the midst of life's challenges.
